Sensibill - Expanding to European Markets
Who are Sensibill?
Sensibill provide digital banking solutions that promote stronger relationships between financial institutions and their customers. The company’s AI-powered spend management tools help customers make sense of their purchase behaviour and their cash flow, while unlocking revenue-driving insights for the banks that offer the solution. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Toronto, Sensibill counts the largest banks in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada among its partners. To date, they serve more than 10 million customers.
The Challenges – and our Solutions
In 2018, after partnering with NatWest and RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland), Sensibill sought to expand their business with banks across Europe. TCB was brought onboard to set up appointments between Sensibill and key banking contacts at an upcoming banking conference, Money 2018, to be held in June 2018. Sensibill provided a prioritised list of 233 contacts, however much vital contact information was lacking or outdated.
We got to work, combing through the data and researching to fill in the gaps and update contact details. Once the database was usable we reached out via phone calls, personal emails and LinkedIn InMail. Where contacts were interested but not attending the conference, we set up video conferences with the Sensibill team. The conference organisers provided a confirmed list of registrants just one week prior to the event itself and we contacted those who we had not previously identified to schedule further meetings.
Sensibill were extremely pleased with the results and engaged TCB to use the same methods to engage delegates from four additional conferences over the next year.
The final stage of the project was to cast the net wider and engage key banks across Europe, with support from our multilingual team.
The Results
We set up a total of 88 appointments for Sensibill; face-to-face meetings at conferences and in London plus videoconferences. We also added 948 new, relevant, qualified contacts to Sensibill’s database and our work made it possible for Sensibill to develop partnerships with some of the most prestigious financial institutions across Europe.
